Our Services

The Right Aged Care Experts, at the Right Time

You don’t have to do this alone. Aged care decisions touch health, money, housing and the law all at once, and no one is expected to be an expert in all of them. That’s why we’ve built a network of trusted professionals we can connect you with.

If you already have a financial adviser or solicitor you trust, we encourage you to keep working with them. Our network is there for when you don’t, or when you need someone new.

Just as importantly, these introductions are commission-free. We don’t take referral fees or kickbacks, and we don’t charge you for the introduction. We introduce you to good people because they’re good, not because we’re paid to.

Referrals

Why independent referrals matter

In aged care, plenty of “free” services are paid by providers behind the scenes, and that can quietly shape the advice you get. Because older people and families pay us directly, our only job is to point you to the right help. Where a financial or legal decision is involved, we’ll always say so and encourage you to involve a licensed professional, because we’re not financial advisers or a law firm ourselves.

One call, the right people.

Instead of searching for a financial adviser or solicitor in a stressful week, you get a warm introduction to someone we’d trust with our own family.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

If your question isn’t here, that’s a good reason to book a complimentary 15-minute conversation, or just call us.
Do you charge for referrals to your network?

No. Our introductions are commission-free, with no fee in either direction. We don’t charge you for them, and we don’t take fees or kickbacks from the professionals we introduce you to. Older people and families pay us directly, so our only interest is connecting you with the right help.

No. We explain how fees and funding work in general terms, but we’re not licensed financial advisers. For decisions about your own money, such as whether to pay a RAD or sell the family home, we encourage you to talk with your existing financial adviser. If you don’t have one, we can introduce you to someone suitable.

Sometimes. Many people have a solicitor prepare legal documents such as an Enduring Power of Attorney or guardianship appointment, and a retirement village contract should always be reviewed by one. We encourage you to use your existing solicitor, or we can introduce you to one. We’re not a law firm.

A downsizing specialist helps sort, sell and move belongings when someone leaves a long-time home, which is often the hardest, most emotional part of a move. We can connect you with people who do this with care.

We only introduce professionals we trust and would use ourselves, chosen for their expertise and how they treat people. Never for what they might pay us, because they pay us nothing.

Yes. Part of our role is holding the pieces together, connecting you with the right people at the right time so you’re not managing it all alone. If you’d like, we can manage the whole process for you.

Why choose us

Why older people and families choose Aged Care Conversations

Our guidance comes from people who have worked inside the system and still do. Louise Greene is a Registered Nurse with an MBA and more than 40 years in health and aged care across clinical, executive, consulting and board roles, including chairing clinical governance committees. Kerry Mann is a former CEO in aged care and retirement living, holds an MBA, and has board experience including Ageing Australia’s NSW/ACT State Member Council.

How much we do is up to you. Some people want a single conversation to get their bearings. Others want us to manage the whole process, from the assessment through to finding and securing a place in the right home, with regular updates along the way.

We’re independent. Older people and families pay us directly, and we take no commissions from aged care homes, retirement villages or providers. When we help with placement, we’re working for you: homes pay us nothing. Where we introduce a partner, it’s on merit, with no fee in either direction. People come to us in the hardest weeks and leave with a clear plan and a person to call.
